Is history repeating itself in front of our eyes? For the second year running Edinburgh have blown a 14-point lead against Benetton. Thanks to Ian McKinley’s honking attempt to convert Marco Barbini’s try, however, they do still hold a one-point lead in the dying minutes.
A man down and with Benetton in the ascendancy, this is a huge test of Edinburgh’s character.
Given the way they have defended tonight, they may be best advised to go for a killer fifth try.
